Hira - Buddini Gold Mines
This mine is situated 20Km east of the Hutti Gold Mine. This deposit is explored by Geological Survey of India. Based on the encouraging results of the preliminary exploration by GSI and considering proximity & viability, HGML hadconducted detailed exploration by trenching, diamond drilling and exploratory underground mining. HGML possess Mining Lease over 21.82 Haarea in Hirabuddini mine. The mine is serviced by two vertical shafts, the Main Shaft (circular) of 189.60 m depth and the West Shaft (rectangular) of 170.90 m depth. The mine has been developed up to 5th level. Underground development is continuing and one stope is under production at 3rd level. The present production capacity of the mine is 33,000 tonnes per annum.
