This mine is situated 22 kms North East of Hutti Gold Mine. This deposit is explored by GSI, MECL & H G M L. It has a Mining Lease (ML No: 2126) for 47.96 Ha. Mine development activates are in progress.
This mine is having 9 lodes and HGML started the Project-Uti Gold Mine on three lodes, namely Lode No. 2 & 3 and Lode No. 4 over a strike length of 660 mts. The Hutti Gold Mine started open cast mining on Lode No. 4 and it continued to a depth of 90 m over a strike length of 300m. However, open cast operation was suspended due to higher stripping ratio. There is a proposal to work out remaining 360m strike length of Lode 4 by another open pit mine (South pit). Simultaneously, a new Service Shat 3 x 2 m size was sunk to a depth of 270m and MECL shaft sunk to a depth of 278 m. Both these shafts will be used for underground operation of the deposit. Lode No. 2 & 3 have been developed by underground mining through two numbers of exploratory shafts and an inclined shaft has been sunk up to a 165 m length. Sub-level development and production drilling have been completed and stoping operations are started. The ore reserves estimated as on 31/03/2020 is 2.23 Million Tonnes @ 2.57 g/t.
