The barren pulp from CIP is subjected to classification in a battery of hydro cyclone and coarse sand thus generated is used in mines for back filling purpose. The cyclones overflow (fines) sent to high rate tailing thickener to reclaim the water and thickener underflow is subjected to detoxification in a series of mechanical agitators with the help of bleaching powder. The barren and detoxified pulp is disposed off to tailing dam. The re-claimed water from tailing dump is pumped to the processing plant and thus Zero discharges maintained.
