This section has to manufacture the items required for Mining Department like- GI ducting, turn tables, iron ladders, bandy, L-hooks, safari clamps, rail washers, fish plates, roof bolts, rail frogs, eye hooks etc. Work shop is engaged in producing the urgent requirement of maintenance spares of Engineering as well as Metallurgical dept. The section also runs Rubber Foundry and Cast Iron Foundry. This section is equipped with required machineries like Lathe, Radial Drilling machine, shaping machine, plasma cutting, Arc and gas welding facility.
