Hoist Maintenance Section

Hoist Maintenance section has to attend to the maintenance and repair of hoisting winders. It is engaged in rope changing, rope re-socketing, testing and certification of lifting tackles as per Mines Regulation etc. and erection of new Head Gear as and when required.

1. Mallappa Shaft: 2 X 600 HP Double drum winder
2. Skip Winder : 1500 HP Double Drum Winder
3. Central shaft : 550 HP Double Drum Winder
4. Village shaft : 120 HP Double Drum Winder
5. Grey shaft : 40 HP Single Drum Winder
