This mine is situated south of Chitradurga. HGML has got Mining Lease (ML No: 2490, Period:6-3-1993 to 5-3-2013).Mining activities held at Ingaldal Copper Mine during 1965 to 1994. Mining work suspended in 1994 due to uneconomic reasons, i.e., due to decline in Cu price and Cu concentrate stopped purchasing by HCL. It is planned to carry out further detailed exploration by exploratory mining.
